For those who are worried about safety. Let me assure you that we have been very well cared for on this trip. Throughout our trip in Egypt, we actually had an armed guard (imagine getting on a bus with a man with an Uzi under his suit jacket!)
I've honestly never had to experience so many guards and machine guns. In Egypt we entered every hotel through a metal dectector! We haven't in Israel so far, but we have been staying at Kibbutz (s -- I'm not sure of the plural). Today we even drove through the West Bank briefly and it was uneventful.
Now if you want to pray about my safety I do have one concern--our Israeli tour guide! The man talks with his hands and tries to drive at the same time!!!!!!
